Couple of days back Telangana CM KCR planned to lead an all party delegation to Delhi and meet PM Modi and submit their representation on the SC categorisation. However PMO informed him at the last minute that the all party meeting was cancelled and further date would be informed.
But this resulted in huge controversy with TRS floor leader in the Lok Sabha, A.P. Jitender Reddy going hammer and tongs on PM Modi saying it was a shameless act. He said some BJP leaders were behind the cancellation.
He said “Though the TRS and the Chief Minister have been supporting the NDA government on all important issues, how can such thing (cancellation of appointment) be allowed to happen,” Rumours said Bandaru Dattatreya was behind the cancellation. Dattatreya however refused the charges.
CM KCR angered by the cancellation decided to cancel his Delhi trip. TRS MPs in New Delhi immediately conveyed the chief minister's disappointment to top BJP leaders, on Sunday, to pacify the already redfaced KCR.
Inside talk is two BJP leaders spoke to KCR and explained to him the delicate political dynamics they are facing in Uttar Pradesh.They explained to KCR that Classification of Scheduled Caste, which was on KCR's agenda, would become a political hot potato in poll-bound state and hit BJP's chances.
KCR who was convinced later agreed to visit Delhi and meet several Union ministers. The CMO confirmed that KCR is leaving by 8pm for New Delhi on Sunday. TRS MP Vinod shared “There will be a meeting with Prime Minister Modi, for which time and date is not yet confirmed. Our chief minister will be meeting President Pranab Mukherjee and home minister Rajnath Singh. The President will be invited for the centenary celebrations of Osmania University by the CM.“
