Many take people for a ride. They compare them to sheep and film celebrities and political leaders believe that they canbe fooled easily. People and political analysts may disagree but watching the recent developments, one may get an impression there is some truth in it.
When Power Star Pawan Kalyan gave support to special status fight started by AP Youth it got all film glamor and the publicity. They also got the political mileage when leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy pledged support.
The special status fight at once became hot topic for media which covered in front pages. For the past three four days at the same RK Beach,Visakhapatnam, many right thinking people are on fast unto death for special status.
But now one bothered and no one came in support. For media it became a useless news and left it as it has no readability and will not increase its TRP ratings. Whether Pawan kalyan, Jagan should be blamed for not supporting the agitation. Only Sampoornesh Babu from Telangana supported the fast unto death.
How should one understand the lack of coverage in media and lack of interest among people and youngsters on special status. Does it prove that special staus sentiment is not there in AP?
This will be a weapon for the ruling TDP,BJP to propogate that there is no special status sentiment in AP.
