Amid the high political drama Sasikala left for Bengaluru where she will surrender herself. Before that a lot of drama took place. Sasikala who left the Poes garden, first went to Amma Samadhi and paid homage to her. Sasikala prayed in tears at Jaya’s grave and in a gesture made three thumps with oaths on Amma Samadhi. After this chinnamma moved to MGR’s house and prayed.
Earlier, the Supreme court had rejected the plea that was filed asking the court to give some time for her to surrender on health grounds. In a befitting reply the top court expressed anger and ordered her to surrender immediately at Bengaluru. The apex court also clarified that no such plea would be entertained here after.
Meanwhile before heading to Bengaluru, The AIADMK General Secretary had appointed her relative Dinakaran as deputy General Secretary of AIADMK which came as a shocker to the MLA’s. Dinakaran was once expelled from the party by the Late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa way back in 2012. He is accused in few land grabbing cases and other illegal activities and corruption cases.
News came in while Sasikala was on her way to Bengaluru that the court for Sasikala in Bengaluru has been shifted to Parappan Agrahara. It means that now chinnamma will be lodged in parappan Agrahara where the late Amma stayed during her conviction period.
