IS YOUR NAME IN THE VOTERS LIST???

 Right to vote is the priviledge given to each and every eligible citizen withoout partialities.Voting can be done only if ur name is included in voters list.This can be done by the options given below
To find out your name on the voter list, you can follow one of the following two options:
1) Check the website the ceo.maharashtra.gov.in (Chief Electoral Officer of Maharashtra); click on ‘Electoral Search Engine’ on the left side of the page,and check your name in the list displayed
2) This can also  be done by   visiting the official BMC website: www.mcgm.gov.in; click on the 'Election Department' tab on the left side of the webpage.
After that  click the 'Voter List 2017' tab,  you will be directed to the 'Final Voter list 2017' tab.
Select your electoral ward number and search for your voter ID number and ensure if your name is enrolled.



'NO USE' BANNERS:

The banners carrying information about the candidates and relative details is of no use because of the tiny font used.

The election booth looks dumpy and over crowded in Ward-154,and people look unhappy with their arrangements.

Twenty-five-year-old Neal Jain says that for the past decades, elections have been fought on the same roti-kapda-makaan rhetoric. As an eligible voter, he expects accountability and is willingness to explore new  fresh faces is a common opinion among youngsters.People vote for different wants like,better education system and for a better tommorow.


 A small election update. Actor Varun Dhawan was not allowed to vote. He had war of words at booth. But his name is no where found in voters list.

 Central Mumbai has recorded 41 percent voter turnout till 1:30 pm. It’s highest so far. The overall voter turnout in the BMC polls till 1.30 pm is 32.1 per cent.



Andheri, the Hawkers spot is kept shut.They have been asked to shut till 5:30 ,when the polling ends.Happy to say they are not annoyed for their inconvinience but say its their duty to vote
