Was Chandrababu Naidu photo and TDP emblems posters, banners hung every where in Dehradun and Badrinath and also slips passed on to Water bottles , medicine covers and food packets ?
Congress ministers and officials told AP Herald that they had no objection TDP taking up relief activities, if they can do it without their party banners and Chandrababu Naidu photos on every thing. The specially designed water bottles with Chandababu and Lokesh photos for Mahanadu were dumped in large numbers
While the entire country watched Andhra Politicians were put to shame when they quarrled at Dehradun airport to snatch the pilgrims for their special flights to curry voters favours.
Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy says that even the buses bringing survivors had Chandrababu Naidu banners and posters .If we wanted we could also have put Kiran Kumar Reddy and Rahul Gandhi portraits on every thing .
Not those congress men did not want to do. AICC Congress sources say that the delay in Government action was only due to printing and packing relief materials in special bags and covers meant for Uttarkhand.However they were abandoned after AICC even Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi took serious objections . It was only later that Congressmen decided to counter the publicity efforts by the TDP and caused the Dehradun fracas .
