Sources have stated that Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday had ordered the verification identification marks of actor Dhanush in his ongoing paternity case. The court ordered that verification be done by a government doctor at the Registrar (Judicial) G. Ilangovan’s chambers. The Dean of Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai was present with a team of government doctors.
The actor, whose full name is Dhanush K. Raja, has been involved in a paternity battle with a couple from Melur, R. Kathiresan and his wife K. Meenakshi, who claim that he is their biological son.
The couple have claimed that the actor had several identification marks that included a mole a on his right collarbone and a scar on his right forearm. Both the marks are mentioned in the school Transfer Certificate of their son.
Meanwhile Dhanush, on his part, has rejected the couple’s claims. The couple is seeking a monthly maintenance of 65,000 from Dhanush. The case has been adjourned till Thursday for further arguments and receipt of the doctor’s report.
