PM Modi's demonetisation strike banning 500 and 1000 rupees old notes left all stunned. During that time many hailed the move as surgical strikes on black money while many opposition parties like Congress, AAP, SP,BSP,RJD and others termed it as a huge scam.
During that time Telangana CM KCR supported the move and PM Modi's decision hailing it as a master stroke to end corruption. KCR supported Modi on the decision and came with his own suggestions for the effective implementation.
Now with the passage of time, it is coming out that Modi's note ban is giving sleepless nights to KCR and his government. It is comingout that government's plans n demonetisation went awry.
While the government expected losses of around Rs 3000crs,the losses increased close to Rs 10000crs. Worried KCR sent his finance minister Etela Rajendra to New Delhi. He will be seeking Centre to help the government by CST and Central-sponsored scheme arrears amounting to over Rs 16,000 crore, at the earliest.
