T-TDP working president Revanth Reddy for long has been fighting bitter battles against the ruling TRS government and CM KCR and his family. It is known that Revanth Reddy and Sandra Veeraiah were suspended by the speaker from the assembly after disrupting the Governor's speech at the start of the budget session.
Despite vehement protests by the opposition parties, speaker and the ruling party didnot go back on the suspension. Now Revanth Reddy decided to take his suspension fight to new heights.
He filed a petition in the Hyderabad Court questioning the suspension order. He contented that the history of address of the President or the Governor was never considered as a joint sit ting of Two Houses and therefore, it is not part of the proceedings of either House presided by Speaker and therefore it cannot be called as Business of the House.
He said the assembly session started only after the Governor's speech and it had given him the opportunity to express his opinion. It has to be seen how the High Court respond in the whole issue.
