Yatha Raja Tatha Praja .The adage that people follow the king very closely perfectly matches with the present anarchic conditions spread by Kiran regime in AP secretariat.
CM Kiran Kumar Reddy always came to secretariat afte 11.30 and left by 3.00 pm , never to come again in evening .So the 12000 employees of secretariat are also practicing the same norms . Today they defied the bio-metric attendance system installed at a cost of Rs.14 after GAD recorded that nearly 37 % of the man days are wasted in secretariat i.e. in terms of salary almost Rs. 7000 in loss work per annum.
The employees argue that IAS officers come to secretariat after lunch. Ministers often do not come to Secretariat at all, Even CM comes to Secretariat after 11.30, they argue. Is so Why treat staff as school children ?
The biometric attendance introduced by Chandrababu Naidu in early 1999 Even he used to log out and log in whenever he came to Secretariat and his CMO put out statistics of his attendance and also that of senior IAS officials frequently to enthuse the subordinate staff.
