1.  Planned crisis? Cashless ATMs may be attempt to push people on digital path :  With ATMs running dry on account of limited supply of cash by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), several top bank officials have said more and more people will be forced towards cashless transactions.
2.  Residents cry foul, say cash woes unending :  Residents thronging ATMs in the city on Monday in the hope of finding cash were left disappointed with most of them being forced to return empty-handed.
3.  Man held at airport with 350gm gold :  Air Intelligence Unit(AIU) detectives of the customs department arrested a smuggler at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Monday and seized 350 grams of gold from his possession.
4.  SCB may seal Begumpet airport over Rs 16 crore dues :  The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) has mopped up nearly Rs 31 crore property tax and are now concentrating on collecting the pending Rs 16.36 crore tax from the Begumpet airport, which is the biggest defaulter in the SCB jurisdiction.
5.  GHMC fines six eateries over hygeine :  Cracking down on restaurants that were reportedly using unhygienic and unstamped meat, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) began imposing fines on Monday. 
6.  Five held for kidnap, bid to sell baby boy in Balanagar :  Acting on a tip-off, police on Monday apprehended five persons from Borabanda for kidnapping a seven-month-old boy near a temple in Balanagar on March 31.
7.  31 stranded in Iraq brought back to state :  Cheated by an agent and stranded in Iraqfor three months, 31 Telangana workerswere rescued and brought back to the country on Monday. NRI affairs minister K T Rama Rao had taken up the problem of the workers with external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.
8.  Transporters to intensify strike after Ram Navami :  Supply of essential goods, including medicines, petrol, milk, vegetables and LPG, could come to a grinding halt after Ram Navami with transporters vowing to intensify their ongoing strike.
9.  BTech grad, relative run over by train while walking on tracks :  A BTech graduate and her 58-year-old relative died after a train hit them while they were walking on the tracks between Borabandaand Hi-Tec City on Sunday evening. 
10.  Soldier from Hyderabad had major role in Pakistan surgical strikes :  Among all the Sena Medal recipients at Rashtrapati Bhavanon March 20, there was one soldier from Hyderabad too. But the fact that he was part of the team that carried out surgical strikes across the border on Sept 28, 2016, is a fact not known in his own city.


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Jagan questions Cabinet berths to defected MLAs :  The YSR Congress Party requested Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to take steps to divest the four defected MLAs of the party, who were inducted into the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, of their seats by using his discretionary powers provided in the Constitution.
2.  Present State government worst in 55 years: Krishna :  Former Karnataka Chief Minister S.M. Krishna, who recently joined the BJP, said the State government under the Congress was the “worst in the last 55 years” and that it lacked vision. 
3.  Woman attempts suicide in front of police office :   Clueless about reuniting with her husband, a 26-year-old woman caused a flutter by allegedly attempting suicide in front of the Prakasam District Police Office (DPO) here on Monday.
4.  NGT calls for report on sand mining in A.P., Telangana :  The Principal Bench of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) consisting of Justice Jawad Rahim and Justice R.S. Rathore and expert Ranjan Chatterjee has ordered the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) to conduct an inspection of areas covering the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and submit a report to determine any illegal sand mining.
5.  Party will pay a price: Gorantla :  Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA and senior TDP leader Gorantla Butchiah Chowdary, who has resigned to party post over denial of Cabinet berth, on Monday again hit out at party supremo and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, saying neglect of seniors would affect the prospects of the party in the long run and also send wrong signals to the cadre.
6.  A.P. and Malaysia ink pact to establish 4th gen Tech Park :  The Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) and MiGHT Technology Nurturing Sdn Bhd (MTD) on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding towards building the 4th General Technology Park in Andhra Pradesh.
7.  Understand my compulsions: Naidu : A day after sending a stern message to disgruntled TDP leaders, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has reminded them that the 2019 elections was the target to be achieved.
8.  Truckers stir: Govt. flayed for inaction :  A  round table was held by the All India Road Transport Workers Federation here on Monday demanding an immediate solution to the lorry operators, who are on an indefinite strike.
9.  Rs. 2.61 crore more found in engineer’s bank lockers :  Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, who are conducting searches on the assets of Roads and Buildings (R&B) Engineer-in-Chief M. Gangadharam for the third day on Monday, noticed cash and jewellery, valued about Rs. 2.61 crore.
10.  Boat operators happy with T.N., Puducherry agreeing to ban :  The Centre’s initiative to enforce annual fishing conservation period in the entire East Coast may bear fruit this year with Tamil Nadu and Puducherry agreeing in-principle to observe ban from April 15 to June 15.
