Even as Delhi CM, AAP chief Arvind Kerjirwal is firing on all cylinders attacking the Election Commission accusing it of tampering EVMs in such a way that it helped in BJP's stunning win in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi people gave him huge shock in the by elections. 


In the Rajouri Garden Assembly bypoll, BJP-SAD's joint candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa crushed the ruling AAP which fished a distant third. In what came as a huge shock, AAp even lost its deposit.

Even Congress party's Meenakshi Chandela stood second while AAP's Harjeet Singh managed to get only 10,243 votes. BJP got 40,602 votes while Congress got 25,950 votes. 
The seat fell vacant when the sitting MLA resigned to contest in Punjab. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia blamed the candidate for quitting the party. 


In the byelections held in 10 assembly constituencies in eight states Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Assam and Madhya Pradesh,BJP won 5 seats, Congress 2, TMC won 1 seat.
