The former minister and Congress party president of Visakhapatnam Pasupuleti Balaraju has plans to join the YSRC in the near future.The reason behind him leaving the current party is because he feels it's too dumb.A dumb party with no activities will not gain the people’s support for sure.
Keeping this in mind he has plans to shift to YSRC in the near future.He has got a good image among the tribal areas of Visakhapatam.To enhance his strong support with some activities he has planned to join the YSRC to gain a strong support in the Paderu consistency.
Balaraju lost his previous elections against Giddi Eswari YSRC candidate. However, if Balaraju joins the YSRC, party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy might give him a higher preference to her, because of the former of his larger support base from the tribal area. Eshwari can be shifted to some other constituency, say party sources
Even Balaraju had an idea to join the TDP but he felt that he would not be offered ticket in the coming elections due to tight competition.
