July 12th….this is now the most important date in the diary for Andhra Pradesh politicians who are eagerly waiting whether AP will stay the way it is or will Telugus no longer be united under the umbrella of one state. The Congress Core Committee meeting is going to take place on this date.
It has to be seen whether this translates into some solid and final decision or will it be one more eyewash in a series of eyewashes and false hopes by Congress party for the last three years in AP. But as feared by some of United AP supporters, sources say there are no extra police deployments anywhere in Hyderabad, including the sensitive pockets of Osmania University.
