Chennai Silks the seven-storeyed building on Usman Road in T.Nagar was totally destroyed by a major fire accident on Wednesday. The huge building crumbled during the early hours of June 1, 2017.
The fire engine arrived the spot but still the fire destroyed all goods stocked in the showroom
The fire was triggered again and again thereby causing the front portion of the building to entirely collapse.
The city police registered a case by calling it an accidental fire. The cause of the accident is yet to be investigated with help of forensic experts says sources.But admist all these chaos the administration was prompt to pay the salary for it employees.
It employed around 1300 staff and all of them were promptly paid which truly wiped their tears.Added to this the employees are shifted and allocated in various other places were Chennai Silks has been established like Madurai and other 17 other cities.
