The people in Kerela are gripped with over 100 deaths being reported since January in Kerala due to various types of fevers including dengue, H1N1, leptospirosis.This made the people give a mass sanitation appeal to the Government.


Breeding of mosquitoes due to the uncollected waste is the main reason behind this spread of fever rate and other spreadable diseases.The Chief Minister Pinarayan has announced telling maintaining social hygiene is essential to keep these viral diseases away.


He has requested the political party activists and the local social-cultural outfits to make an active participation in the sanitation drive that the Government has initiated.


With the opposition finding fault, the Health Minister told a united effort is needed to overcome the situation and it is not the time to take political mileage.
