As per report from sources it was stated that an NRI woman from Singapore Nupur Saraswat, who is on a visit to Hyderabad, had an embarrassing experience after a hotel in Erragadda (Deccan Erragadda) denied her to check-in, despite confirming her e-booking made via online booking site Goibibo.
Meanwhile when unhappy with the bad experience, the NRI woman instantly took to social media and described her situation outside the hotel after management denied entry to her. As per the reports it was stated that, she was declined a room because she was a 'single lady'. The hotel states that locals and unmarried couples are not allowed, and also 'single lady not welcomed.
Quickly after incident, Nupur's Facebook post went viral & it was all over the news very rapidly. In a later post, where Nupur briefed it as 'HyderabadSaga', she confirmed that Goibibo has upgraded her e-booking and offered another high rated hotel as a total complementary and de-listed Hotel Deccan Erragadda, which was booked by her.
