Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has reportedly conveyed to AP government that the state should be prepared to handle any eventuality and has given short term notice. It is being expected widely that today evening Congress will reportedly make an official announcement after the Core Committee meeting.
Already police forces are being replenished towards Seemandhra and sources have confirmed that something big is in the offing. It is being said that bifurcation of AP is inevitable and security is being beefed up across all sensitive locations across Seemandhra.
Sources say the growing tension in the Seemandhra region has reportedly pushed the Delhi high command to move their cards quickly instead of further delay. But political analysts say this is nothing short of a big gamble and the consequences are going to be very high for Congress for their impulsive decisions.
