Former cricketer and Bharat Ratna, Rajya Sabha MP Sachin Tendulkar today initiated to talk on the development of sports in India, for the first time, during the parliament session, but the opposition Congress people stopped his speech by creating a ruckus demanding Modi's explanation on his remarks during Gujarat polls.
As Sachin Tendulkar stood for more than 10 minutes and demanded an order, nothing significant happened, and Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu said that there's no sportive nature existing to discuss sports. Jaya Bachchan said that it was a huge Shame that a great legend of his stature wasn't allowed to speak in the house.
Parliamentary affairs minister Ananth Kumar said that Congress had behaved in an undemocratic manner, and disrupted Sachin's speech despite numerous orders to stop them and let him speak, and today they participated in the session of supplementary demand of grants, showing the chaotic Nature existing in the losing party.
