KCR has once a gain stumped the congress and the administrators with his statement that new Telangana state would initiate direct talks with Maoists for an enduring peace and put an end to encounter killings.
The TRS chief has said that Telangana government will hold political dialogue with the Maoists to implement their socio-economic agenda..KCR’s prescription on Maoists has shocked the congress and proved their assessment right that Maoists had infiltrated Telanagana movement.
The YSR government had initiated talks with Naxalites in 2004 which backfired after Maoists refused to give up arms and alleged fake encounters. The Telangana region was once a stronghold of Naxalites, so much so that the ultra left extremist units were in a position to run parallel administration in their bastions.
TRS and KCR assertions now prove the fears of Congress right that Telangana would soon become another Chattisgarh where the Maoists were running parallel government.
