Sources from Telangana have stated that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao received appreciations from residents of his neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh, with members of the Yadava Sangham performing a ‘milk abhishekam’ to his portrait. According to sources the youth were performing the ritual after KCR’s announcement that he would ensure that someone from the Yadav community was given a Rajya Sabha seat and an MLC post in Telangana.
Meanwhile the members performed the ‘abhishekam’ to KCR’s portrait and they also told reporters that they would conduct a special rally from Vijayawada to Hyderabad, and urged other political parties to follow in the Telangana Chief Minister’s footsteps.
Furthermore the members of the Sangham also highlighted KCR’s promise to
procure and distribute several lakh sheep over the next two years to Yadava
families, traditionally dependent on sheep rearing and earlier in June last
year, KCR launched the massive sheep distribution program aimed at reviving
livestock economy in the state.
