A plane in Ankara, Turkey suddenly slipped into a ditch when it was about to land near the runway. Fortunately, the passengers and the employees escaped the near death situation. Had the Flight fallen down from the deep gorge, it could have definitely dropped into the sea. Since it was halfway from the runway to the bottom of the ditch, the lucky passengers survived.
The Boeing aircraft had 168 passengers and staff
on board, and it landed on the Drapshan Island in the Black Sea in Ankara.
Since the Runaway was located in the vicinity of the shore near the sea, in an
unexpected way, the flight slipped en-route to the runway and fell straight
into the ditch.
Immediately rescue officers rushed to the location,
and safely rescued everyone. It is a huge respite and fortunate incident that
no one is injured. While the cause of the accident is still unknown, Passengers
were extremely frightened when the plane collapsed. The edges of the plane got
damaged badly as they brushed with the borders of the ditch. Looking at their
lives stranded so close to bottom of the sea, passengers started screaming,
and the scene was filled with great panic. However finally the passengers were
relieved when it was declared everyone was safe.
