Two specially designed Boeing 777 flights are coming soon, for the usage of the Indian President, and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Some of the important features of these flights which are coming to India on Republic Day, January 26, are as follows.

 


Maintained by the Union's Air India, these flights are called Air India One and currently for the foreign visits of PM and Presidents, Boeing 747-200 are being used. Now, for the special protection of the VVIPs, the 777-300 Boeings are being brought to India. The regular 777-300 will have a seating capacity of 368 passengers, but this specially designed Boeing will have unique features.

Bedrooms, Dining halls, Operation theater and health care room, discussion halls, seating, space for the defense team, satellite phones and missile launching equipment's are a part of this flight, and after getting equipped with these features, the flights will be back after 6 months, customized for the usage of PM and President. The flight can travel up to 13650 km, and uses fly by wire technology. It must be noted that when Air India itself is running in heavy losses, the Prime Minister and his team are going to the US to buy this technically advanced, expensive flights.
