The telecom regulatory authority of India (TRAI) has recommended permitting the usage of mobile phones by passengers during their flight journeys. Currently, there's a restriction on usage of mobiles and internet during flight travels, as there's a danger of mobile signals getting entangled with the flight signals, thus resulting in huge dangers and chaos.

With even accidents possible with such a scenario, now TRAI has revealed that, with the existing advanced technology in Place, it's not a big deal to separate the signals and the mobile signals as well as the internet signal waves, and hence it's no more a case of confusion resulting for pilots to differentiate between different signals, as technically they'll get flight signals exclusively without interruptions.

Citing this technical advancement, TRAI has recommended allowing the usage of mobile phones and internet connection during flight travel, in their recent letter to the civil aviation ministry. It has been expected that a decision on this regard will soon be taken by the aviation ministry, and if a nod is given by the ministry, passengers will be able to use mobile phones, and arrangements will be made in the flights to ensure mobile signals don't mix with the flight signals.
