Shahrukh Khan's Deja Vu farms private limited, located on the shores of Alibaug, has been taken over by the income tax department, under the prevention of Benami property act, as the king Khan was already served a notice in this regard, in December itself. Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, known worldwide for his performances and blockbusters, resides in his posh house Mannat, and owns an acre of land near Alibaug in Maharashtra, where he has a farmhouse. 

 


This farmhouse has been confiscated by the income tax department reportedly, and this was also confirmed by an official from the IT department, who expressed that the property can be taken over, if the details on the person who has Benami is identified, and a notice will be served to the original owner, and furthermore, after 90 days of serving of the notice, the property in conflict can be seized by the IT department. In this case, Shahrukh Khan was served a notice in prior, in December itself, and this farmhouse is worth 14.67 crores and can be sold in the market for 5 times its estimated price, at present.

With an area spanning 19,960 square feet, and with specially designed swimming pool and helipad, notice was served multiple times to Shahrukh and no reply was received, despite also mailing to his red chilies entertainment group and Kolkata Knight Riders team contact mail. The main accusation is that Shahrukh Khan had purchased the land for agricultural purposes, but was using it for his own purposes, accounting to Benami act, leading to ultimately getting blocked by the IT department.
