Sources have made a statement that a woman who was identified as wife of a BJP leader in Odisha threw eggs at state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the inauguration of Talsari Beach Festival in Balasore district.
Meanwhile alerted with the incident, the security members of Patnaik guarded him. And the eggs thrown by the lady have hit another person on stage. Moreover the Police officials who are providing security for the Chief Minister's visit immediately took her into custody for the interrogation. Further the attacker who bought eggs in her bag was found to be the wife of a BJP activist.
Accordingly Naveen Patnaik led Biju Janata Dal has condemned this public attack and took a swipe at opposition party BJP for being intolerant about the success of Chief Minister. But, the video of the woman hurling eggs on to stage is going viral on social media. Sources have reported that Naveen Patnaik has been the Chief Minister of Bihar from the year 2000 and his party won state assembly elections for four consecutive times.
