New Delhi sources have stated that Congress senior leader and the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad told Congress party workers that there is a "90 percent chance" of having parliamentary elections around November 2018. Meanwhile Azad has asked all the party men to brace up for the early polls for Lok Sabha.



Further Azad, the AICC general secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh told party members in Lucknow, "You, as members, have served the party for so many years and now we need you to focus all your energy on realizing our dream of winning the next election."

Moreover this comes after President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed their wish of conducting simultaneous polls for both Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies. While Ram Nath stated his view at the start of the Budget session, Modi too raised his view of 'One Nation, One Election' while addressing NDA floor leaders in Parliament and asked them to debate, discuss on the issue.
