iPhone 7 users have got a new unexpected announcement from Apple, that they'll receive free repairs and service. However, this isn't something to rejoice, because, the free service offer has been provided just because of a flaw in iPhone 7, that prevents users From connecting to a mobile network, showing the message, no service.
The reason for this defect has been attributed to a component failure on main logic board, which will be repaired in the free service. In the official note, it has been announced that Apple will offer free services to users experiencing the issue of no service on the status bar, despite full network connectivity, due to a failed component. The phones were sold in Hong Kong, Macao, US, Japan and China, and were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018.
This is the 4th instance of
component replacement program for Apple iPhones, and the models eligible
are: A1660 China, Hong Kong, Macao,US,A1780 China, A1779 Japan. Users
having the issue can visit nearest apple store to get phone repairs done for
free, and in case of previous repairs done for those models, a reimbursement
will be done.
