Whatever happens in the world, the number of tourists and people traveling to Dubai hasn't decreased at all and has only been constantly increasing with every year. Though the general world airport trend is such that the number of passengers keeps increasing, but the percentage of passenger arrivals has been dipping, Dubai alone has earned the coveted tag of the busiest airport of the world.



With respect to the number of passengers traveling within Dubai, and to other foreign countries from Dubai also, the country has taken the number one position. India too has a spot in this elite list. Dubai has earned this prestigious tag, with the growth in the past 9 years, as last year alone Dubai had a growth percentage of travelers to 5.5%, while it is expected that the percentage of travelers will increase this year by another 2.4%.While it is estimated that 90 million people will make use of Dubai airport this year, 2017 saw 88.2 million people make use of Dubai Airport, which was a huge increase from the 83.2 million passengers in 2016.

This estimation has been made based on international passengers alone. 2.2 million Chinese people travel to Dubai every year, and 1.3 million Russians travel to Dubai every year. Indian airports are primarily used for import and export of goods, and the Delhi Airport had a 5.4 % increase in the number of people who use it, and a whopping 12.06 million passenger’s made use of the Delhi airport last year.
