According to sources a day after meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, TDP MPs have got an unexpected call from PMO inviting them to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Feb 6, 2018 at 11 AM at his official residence in 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi. Sources have added that TDP MPs have prepared to meet Modi again and little did they expect that they would receive the call so quickly.
Accordingly Naidu's firm voice against Centre this time over the 'injustice' to AP and growing dissent in AP against the BJP are key factors which moved Modi and his government and further this meet is considered as very crucial as this would decide the fate of TDP-BJP alliance.
Moreover the TDP MPs are anticipated to raise the
several promises made by the Centre such as Special Package instead of Special
Category Status, New Railway Zone for Visakhapatnam, Polavaram issues and other
funds to the state. Further TDP MPs want full clarity from Modi on what all centre
would provide and how much it provide and when it would provide. Depending on
Modi's response, TDP is likely to chalk out its future course of action.
