Priya Prakash Varrier, better known as the winking sensation for her appearance in the Omar Lulu Directorial upcoming flick Oru Adaar Love's Manikya Malaraya Poovi , and won hearts with her expressions captivating audience. She also becoming an internet sensation, earning more 6 lakh followers in a day in Instagram, besides a total count of 3 million followers and her profile getting verified in no time.
Currently, the young sensation has been facing troubles, as a case has been filed against her by a youth group of Farooq Nagar, Hyderabad. The youth group has filed a complaint against Priya as they allege that the song hurts the sentiments of muslims, as the song was about Prophet Mohammed.
Muqueet Khan, who had filed the
complaint, said that a boy and a girl are seen romancing on screen but with a
religious background, hurting religious sentiments ultimately. He further added
that he will not be taking back the complaint, while director Omar Lulu has said
that the lyrics and the song aren't meant to hurt anyone's sentiments, and
particularly the sentiments of Muslims.
