In Telangana, a father had been arrested on charges of beating and harassing his son, after his 11 year old son had given a police complaint on his father. Jammikunda is located in Karim Nagar locality of Telangana, and it was here that this incident happened, when an 11 year old boy Sasikumar, arrived at the police station to give a descriptive, written complaint on his father.
In his complaint, he had mentioned that his father had been harassing and troubling him mentally and physically. The cops took his complaint and upon investigation it was found that his father Srinivas was an alcoholic. Besides, it was also found that he was having the habit of arriving home drunk and attacking his wife and son, and during a recent quarrel, had smeared his son's face with pepper powder.
Following the rising atrocities of his father, Sasikumar filed a complaint. A case has been filed against Srinivas under IPC sections 324,342 and 506, besides protection of children against harassment. Now, Sasikumar is undergoing treatment, and Srinivas has been put behind the bars.
