According to sources Sridevi's death has given rise to sense speculation about the cause of her death, her cosmetic surgeries being much talked about and her personal life discussed like nobody's business. So, the family members of the Kapoor family have requested the media to respect their privacy and do some responsible reporting. RecentlyAnil Kapoor shared a statement to this effect on Instagram, Boney Kapoor who till now hadn't used Twitter tweeted from his wife Sridevi's official Twitter handle.
Meanwhile even other celebrities, including Kamal Hassan shared the statement urging fans and media to ensure kids remember their mother as woman of dignity. Sources have stated that Sridevi passed away after drowning in her bathtub at her hotel room in Jumeirah Towers in Dubai where she had gone with family to attend nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding.
Further Dubai public prosecution handed over the mortal remains to the
family after two days of thorough investigation to confirm the actual cause of
death as she died under suspicious circumstances. Accordingly Sridevi was
cremated at the Vile Parle Hindu crematorium with state honors. She was dressed
in white as per her last wish.
