According to sources when responding to Congress
party's promise of making its first signature on the Special Category Status
for AP after coming back to power, BJP's AP leaders have strongly reacted and
gave a befitting counter. Meanwhile, further questioning why Congress hadn't
accorded Special Category Status when they were in power in 2014 during the
making of AP Reorganization Act, BJP's AP unit blamed Congress for the total
injustice meted out to AP.
Sources have stated that BJP leaders of AP unit have organized an internal
meeting in Vijayawada with its AP president Hari Babu presiding over the meet.
Further while blaming on Congress, BJP leaders claimed that BJP had "done
a lot" to AP so far after coming into power.
However, these "false" claims of BJP have received huge flak from netizens of AP who're asking BJP to stop "politicizing" issues of AP and start working on them. Moreover according to sources they shot back saying "why can't BJP now give" which it had promised on the floor of house then instead of throwing blame on Congress now.
