According to sources when commenting on TDP's No Confidence Motion against Narendra Modi led government, BJP's national president Amit Shah said that BJP would sail to victory easily. Meanwhile he confidentially said that No Trust motion will easily be defeated. "Opposition's no-confidence motion will be easily defeated by a 300 plus majority commanded by NDA in the Lok Sabha," Amit Shah asserted. Amit Shah said "They are very much ready to face the proposed no-confidence motion. It is Modi vs the Rest".
Meanwhile when looking at numbers, the BJP led government still has a comfortable majority in the Lok Sabha having the support of around 315 members and on its own has 274 well above the current halfway mark of 270. Further presently after the recent losses in the Uttar Pradesh and Bihar by polls, the BJP on its own has 274 members and the allies account for 41 members.
The No confidence motion issue highlighted Modi and his team's injustice
to the state. Amit Shah has rushed to AP to meet AP's BJP leaders to talk about
the ground situation. Furthermore both the ruling TDP government and Opposition
YSRCP have moved No Confidence Motion giving jitters to Modi. It looks like BJP
is going to have very difficult time in AP.
