The successive deaths of Mahadevan, Santhana Lakshmi and Natarajan, all belonging to Sasikala family, within just 15 months of former Chief minister of Tamilnadu and ADMK supreme Jayalalitha, has created chaos in the Mannargudi family. Ever since Sasikala ventured into the Poes garden residence of Jayalalitha, Sasikala's family members always had an upper hand in everything, and even in politics, members of her family had the ultimate authority.
Sasikala made people known to her as ministers, while Making Sudhakaran as Jayalalitha's adopted son, and TTV Dhinakaran as MP. With Jayalalitha under her control and with ministry under her command, Sasikala planned things and kept everything under her, with Natarajan playing a key role from behind. But all this shadow play ended with 2011, as Jayalalitha distanced everyone other than Sasikala, while also jailing many.
However, Jayalalitha passed away
under mysterious circumstances after being given treatment for 75 days in
Apollo hospital. Though Sasikala tried to gain control, she was arrested and
imprisoned in the disproportionate assets case, in Bengaluru. While
Mahadevan(47) passed away in April 2017, Sasikala's sister in law Santhana
Lakshmi passed away in July, and now Sasikala's husband Natarajan has passed
away today, following prolonged illness. These sudden consecutive deaths have
created a fear among Mannargudi family members.
