After winning the 2014 general elections winning by majority, the BJP went on to form the government at the centre, with Narendra Modi becoming the prime minister of the nation. Modi had given an impact that he can extend the developments he had shown to Gujarat as its chief minister, to the whole of India.

And as per his promise, right from cars, flights to even safety pins, he had planned to get manufactured completely in India, with the concept of Make in India. However this was not a success as the multinational companies had not liked this concept. Coming next was his destructive plan of demonetization, to eliminate black money and corruption, but with his elimination of 500 and 1000 rupee notes, he actually earned the wrath of common public. Ironically, even now the Reserve Bank is yet to complete the reconciliation of the old notes collected.

And next came GST, which was actually initially opposed in the congress rule by BJP themselves, but later they introduced it, affecting the traders. Due to GST, the country's employment and economy faced a huge downfall. In such a scenario, a recently held survey, it was found that 77% votes were against Modi and only 23% favored him, ultimately showing that Modi will lose the 2019 elections.
