Andhra Pradesh Police on Sunday booked a case Hanumantha Rao for making provocative statements.The MP had alleged the hand of YSRC party workers in the attack on Saturday at Alipiri when he had gone for darshan of Lord Venkateswara.VH had also said that "Government employees from Seemandhra regions working in Telangana will have to leave Hyderabad as per rules. If government employees want to stay in Hyderabad, they can do so by quitting their jobs." .The remarks have drawn flak from the Samaikynahdra activists.
The Student JAC lodged a complaint against VH at the III Town Police Station in Vizag leading to a police case. Meanwhile, three persons arrested by Tirupati police in connection with mob attack on VH in court and sent to judicial custody till August 20.
