An Indigo flight, which was supposed to take off from Delhi to Gurgaon, had been delayed by more than five hours, at the Delhi International Airport, and this huge delays, irked the passengers who began protesting. As reported by the Airport staff, several passengers out of the total of 177 passengers, came out of the tarmac of Indigo Aribus A230, and went on to block taxiway and protest, creating chaos in the area. 

        


The passengers who came out and started walking on the tarmac, were allegedly stopped by the Central Industrial Security Force cops. After a dangerous dust storm, the flight operations were badly hit, and there were huge delays at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, with the dust storm causing the diversion of more than 20 flights from the IGI Airport.

 While the passengers had complained that Indigo had not informed them of the delay, Indigo claimed that they had informed, and denied the accusation made by passengers. The flight had left by 11:30, while originally it was schedule to leave by 6:30. Post the landing, the passengers were offered accommodation and transport facilities at Guwahati, arranged by Indigo.
