With the collapse of the software boom in the country , most of the engineering graduates from AP lacking language and communication skills are at the recieving end .
AP produced over 2 lakh engineering graduates every year of which nearly 60,000 were alone absorbed as tech professionals and rest of them had to chose other avocations . InAP this year as many as 1200 of the police constables posts were filled up by B Tech graduates.
A NAsscom survey show that only 10 percent of the fresh B tech graduates every year were ' employable' as the rest of the lot did not have any language skills or even communication talents . Police recruiters said some of the B.Tech graduates were poor even in Telugu .' The reason being that many of the engineering colleges lacked good faculties and were set up for sake of tuition fee reimbursement benefits from the government' they say . �� So no wonder we can find many B.Tech graduates as police constables , bank clerks, Govt employees etc in near future .
