Hyderabad sources stated that as the nomination procedure for the Telangana elections is set to begin on Monday, the campaign activity of all major political parties is expected to be intensified across the State. Accordingly Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had launched the TRS campaign in his home constituency Gajwel after a meeting with important local leaders on Sunday.



Meanwhile on the other side, the Congress party is planning to organize two more tours of party President Rahul Gandhi in the State over the next three weeks. Furthermore according to sources, senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi will attend the campaign in Telangana on November 22 and 23. Further the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to rope in party national president Amit Shah for the campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tour to Telangana is yet to be confirmed. Hence in addition, the communist parties are chalking out plans to arrange public meetings with national level leaders.

Reportedly the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are also planning to organize meetings and road shows with a host of star campaigners and popular figures. Moreover Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leaders Somnath Bharti, Alka Lamba, Shahnaz Hindustani, Sanjay Singh, Sushil Gupta and Manish Sisodia are among the party's star campaigners, while the BSP's list of leaders includes party chief and former UP CM Mayawati, general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra, Rajya Sabha member Veer Singh and party Vice-president Ramji Goutam.
