As a counter the LB stadium meeting of the Seemandhra GOs the TRS legislators began a sit-in at the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly premises Saturday .The sit in led by TRS members E. Rajender, Harish Rao, P. Srinivasa Reddy was aimed to protest against Kiran Govt denial of permission to take out a rally while allowing Seemandhra employees to hold a meeting.
They lashed at the anti-Telangana stance of Kiran government as they came on two wheelers and were not allowed inside assembly building by police and security staff. They were also denied permission to stage a sit-in at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and finally had to sit in protest at the assembly gates, half a km away from the Lal Bahadur Stadium, where Seemandhra employees are holding a meeting to oppose the proposed bifurcation of the state.

Harish Rao alleged that the TDP had mobilized large crowds for the  Save AP meeting and that  though police said only employees were allowed in the stadium many anti-social elements joined the gathering
