BCCI Chief N. Srinivasan who stepped out from the position few months ago on his involvement spot fixing in IPL has to face charges in YS Jagan’s Disproportionate of Assets case. In the charge sheet relating to Indian Cements, CBI named Srinivasan is A-3. Srinivasan is MD for Indian Cements. CBI has questioned him twice in this case. As per CBI, that Indian Cements invested 140 crores allegedly into Jagan’s business and in return it benefits provision of additional allocation of water in YSR government. CBI has naming 25 accused in three charge sheets that filed on Indian Cements, Penna Cements and Bharathi Cements.

The investigating agency not mentioned Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah who was irrigation minister then in YSR regime. When Ponnala was an irrigation minister this additional allocation of water provided to Indian Cements. CBI has to file another two more charge sheets within two or three days. Total number of charge sheets filed by CBI mounts to 8. Ponnala feels a great sigh of relief after seeing his name not in the charge sheet. As per legal experts, few ministers’ names will be included in next charge sheets.
