Two National parties BJP and Congress have start working their campaign for 2014 general elections. Both parties targeted younger generation. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who attracts youth voters through Social media networks like Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter and addressing them various cities with his speech. After getting third successive victory in Gujarat, Modi’s popularity has increased rapidly.

Congress too wants this type of Hi-Tech publicity to attract the young voters. Party wants to create new methods of publicity. It’s PM nominee Rahul Gandhi is the man behind the canvass. Congress party wants to bring awareness in it’s cadre on Social Media Network, it conducts one workshop in Gandhi Bhavan. Representatives of 5 districts have participated in this workshop. How to use linkedin, facebook, youtube and Twitter for campaign? Second phase of workshop will conduct on September 15th in Warangal. So far, BJP’s Narendra Modi is ahead of Rahul among all Social Media publicity.

Rahul Gandhi initiates new poll slogan eyeing on 2014 elections. “Eat Full Roti, Work For 100 days, Vote for Congress”. Congress will face 2014 elections with this slogan. “Garibhi Hatavo“ which was famous slogan for late Indira and that give stupendous victory for the Congress. Rahul has focused more on welfare and seeks to build the party from grassroots. Will new slogans and new publicity give the results or not?
