TDP seems to be gaining the much needed momentum in the politically crucial Godavari districts from the ruling Congress, in the wake of Seemandhra people's anger against the Congress taking a decision favoring Telangana.
Jagan seems to have already finalized his party's candidates for 2014 in East and West Godavari districts, and the only option left for Congress leaders seems to be the main opposition party, TDP. If reports are to be believed, then nearly six Congress MLAs from twin Godavari districts have been ready to shift their loyalties to TDP.
This can happen at any moment and the list comprises of names such as Kothapalli Subbarayudu, Vanga Geeta, Kanna Babu, Gandhi Mohan, Eli Nani, Trimurtulu and Satyanandam who seem to be waiting for right moment to join TDP. Well after Chiru started PRP in 2008, looks like for the first time the Kapu community is getting into the hold of TDP again.
