Chennai city had been enjoying a pleasant weather ever since morning and the people of the city are happy because of this. Few days back there was widespread snowfall all over the city, and due to this kind of weather, even the people of Chennai were forced to roam around wearing sweaters like a snow filled hilly area.
But again, the heat and summer returned, following which there heavy heatwaves was attacking people, who felt troubled. However yesterday was a surprise for the people of the city, as all of a sudden clouds got accumulated and with the dark sky, rains started pouring.
Areas in Chennai like Choolaimedu, Anna Nagar, Ambattur and Avadi were filled with good rainfall. Besides this there were drizzles in Egmore, Royapettah, Purasaivakkam, Vyasarpadi, Ayanavaram, Guindy, Vadapalani etc as well. The rain is likely to continue for a couple of days due to the excess heat which prevails.
