BJP is planning to contest Lok Sabha elections from Thoothukudi constituency. From DMK camp, the news is out that MP Kanimozhi had been finalized to contest Lok Sabha elections from Thoothukudi constituency, and she had filed nomination. In Chennai Arivalayam she gave her nomination and now she is currently a Rajya Sabha MP.
Meanwhile in such a situation BJP has also decided same constituency and this was hinted by Tamilisai Soundararajan as well. She said BJP has requested Thoothukudi to ADMK and also asked 5 constituencies where BJP is stronger.
Furthermore with this speech of Tamilisai Soundararajan it's almost confirnlmed that she'll be fighting Kanimozhi in Thoothukudi. It's more or less confirmed that Tamilisai will lose in Thoothukudi as most of the people are against BJP due to the Sterlite shooting issue. BJP is yet to cement their spot with a good name. So, this is going to be an easy win for Kanimozhi.
