Janasena Party is struggling to field candidates in all the 175 constituencies of Andhra Pradesh. It has announced only 32 MLA candidates and Four MP candidates so far. The party is contesting these elections in an alliance with Communist Parties as well as Mayawati's Bahujan Samajwadi Party.
Gadela Srinu is already announced as Janasena's Vishakapatnam MP Candidate. But then, it is reliably learned that Srinu is not in favour of contest fearing defeat and has become unavailable for the party leaders. Janasena is trying to convince him or may have to change the candidate which will be an embarrassment for the party.
Despite the rumours of Pawan Kalyan himself contesting from Gajuwaka which comes under Vishakapatnam Parliament Segment, Gadela Srinu is not confident of the party success which speaks volumes about the party's position. Janasena has to perform in this election lest its survival becomes difficult after the elections.
