The rural areas of this region are dominated by TDP from last two elections. TDP's senior leader Gorantla Buchayya Chowdary and Aakula Veeraraju from YSRCP have participated in the election. Gorantla has won over Veeraraju. Now, Kandula Durgesh Babu is contesting with these 2 contestants from JSP. Buchayya has done a lot of developments in his region. He has done every program successfully which was conducted by government. TDP cadre is very strong in this region. Coming to this time, there has been some allegations on the government and this impacted him. This may also show effects on the coming elections. YSRCP has build its cadre very strong. After the Paada Yatra from Jagan the party has been very much into people and made some more connections with them.
Veeraraju has also got sympathy as he has lost from this region. He has gained more power from the people. He is now standing strong against the TDP leader. This gives more impact on elections.
Jagan has made some comments on Kaapu community and with this there's going to be a support for Kandula from Kaapu community. As Kandula who is a leader from YSRCP jumped into Janasena has a great influence on people, and as he has worked as MLC and District President, he will have chances to win this elections.
Kaapu community is bigger in this region but it won't help much to Janasena because TDP and YSRCP has strong leaders contesting from this area. From this constituency Kadiyam, Rajahmundry rural areas are involved but Rajahmundry city and Rajahmundry corporation are partially involved in this. BC and Kaapu community people are more in this area and they decide the winning and losing candidates. As there is a tough fight between YSRCP and TDP, Janasena comes in and divides the votes. This will show affect on YSRCP. Let us wait and see who is going to take over the Rural area.
