KA Paul formed Prajasanthi and selected his nominees for all 175 Assembly segments. Election Commission assigned symbol Helicopter to Paul’s new party. Guessing the political trouble in advance, YSRCP leaders appeal to Chief Election Commission not to assign Helicopter symbol to any new political party. If the Helicopter assigned to any Independent there will be no issue for YSRCP. EC has assigned Helicopter to new Political party Prajasanthi which field its candidates across 13 districts.

KA Paul lashed out YSRCP for latter’s appeal to EC. He fired and questioned on YSRCP leaders that people don’t know which is FAN or Helicopter in ballot paper. But YSRCP leaders fear appears to come true in ballot paper. In particular, YSRCP candidate Daggupati Venkateswara Rao who contested from Paruchur segment is facing issues on two ways. Having the same name of Daggupati Venkateswarlu filed his nomination papers from Prajasanthi for Paruchuru segment.

Prajasanthi’s Daggupati Venkateswarlu is from Ongole filed nomination for Paruchuru segment. Having the similar names except last two letters, YSRCP expect the two names might appear one after another in ballot paper. Adding to that, there are similarities on election symbols (Helicopter and FAN) too. Reportedly, YSRCP leaders are trying to convince Prajasanthi’s candidate to withdraw his nomination before March 28th that helps to YSRCP nominee Daggupati!
