Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had deployed his mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila to campaign for the party. Sharmila is drawing huge crowds and is canvassing for the party candidates baring severe heat. Sharmila was in Guntur the other day, and she was shaking hands with people from her bus.
To her shock, someone from the crowd grabbed her hand and tried to pull her ring. Sharmila was shell-shocked for a moment. The video is now viral on social media and it is all over the media that someone pulled out her ring. We reached out to YSR Congress Party and get to know that her Ring is not stolen.
"She pulled her hand back when the thief tried to pull the ring. It is not stolen," the source added. Sharmila who is canvassing in four constituencies of Guntur and Prakasam Districts today took her ring off before campaigning. The elections in Andhra Pradesh will happen on April 11th, and the results will be out on May 23rd.
